Publication Ethics

Meditio Publications follows the guidelines and core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All submitted articles are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process and must meet academic standards. The originality of the manuscript content will be verified by the plagiarism detector "Quetext" to avoid cases of plagiarism, data falsification, and incorrect authorship credit. Duplicate publication of the same or very similar article may result in the article being rejected and the authors being sanctioned.

Meditio journals accept only original content; articles that are available as preprints, institutional repositories, abstracts, conferences, or in a thesis will be considered by us. In these cases, the thesis or preprint must be discussed and cited within the article; author is responsible for obtaining the cover letter, necessary permissions, copyrights (if needed).

Manuscripts submitted to Meditio will be withheld during the review process and withdrawn prior to submission elsewhere. Authors may be subject to sanctions if it is found that their articles were simultaneously submitted to other publications.

It is critical to include the names of all authors who made significant contributions to the manuscript. Conflicts of interest statements must be disclosed by the author while submitting the manuscript, however, it will not prevent the article from participating in the review process or work from being published.
