Meditio does not generate revenue through traditional subscriptions because we adhere to the Gold Open Access model, and all journal articles are subject to an article processing fee upon acceptance by the editorial team. These fees are usually paid by the authors, their institutions, or funders at the time of acceptance. These fees will cover the costs of processing the article, editorial operations, tools utilized, archiving, and promotion. These processing fees will vary depending on the nature of the article.

The standard publication fee for all of our journals will be 1,000 USD.

Meditio does not have a refund policy, as the journal publishes articles under an Open Access platform, the processing fee paid by the authors will be used to cover the costs involved with the process and publishing.

Meditio has a partial waiver policy to assist authors from low-income countries or researchers who are unable to meet the costs associated with open access publishing. Before submitting an article, authors must confirm the discounted charges with the editorial team and will not be accepted after processing of the manuscript. The waiver request will be considered on an individual basis and provided accordingly.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may withdraw their work without being charged a withdrawal fee during the first two days following submission; a withdrawal fee needs to be paid if the work is withdrawn at any other point during review, after review or acceptance. The corresponding author must formally request the withdrawal of an article via email explaining the reason. Withdrawal fees may differ depending on the stage of the article. In this regard, the editorial office has the authority to make decisions at its discretion.

The standard withdrawal fee for any article will be 500 USD.
