Editor Guidelines

Our Editorial Board is composed of a diverse group of researchers who play multiple roles in the journal's success. Editorial Board members assist with journal promotion, manage the peer review process, serve as reviewer/guest editor for special issues, and occasionally contribute to the journal content with editorials and short articles.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Editors are responsible for ensuring the timely review process and maintaining the novelty of journal content.
  • Editor will decide whether the submitted manuscripts fall within the scope of the journal or not.
  • Following an initial plagiarism check, the editor will assign submitted manuscripts to the relevant field reviewers.
  • It is expected that assigned editors will review each submission with honesty and transparency.
  • We follow double-blind peer review procedure (the identities of both the author and the reviewer are concealed).
  • If the assigned editor has a conflict of interest with the submission's authors, funding companies, or institutions, he or she must withdraw from the manuscript review.
  • Editors must consider at least two expert review comments on the submission.
  • The journal editorial board will make the final decision on manuscript publication or rejection.
  • Editors must provide constructive feedback to authors on review comments in order for them to submit a revised manuscript (if major/minor revisions are suggested).
  • Editors/reviewers and publication staff must keep all research work information confidential.
